How do I get more points?
For every dollar you invest, you earn 1 point. The points are accumulated across a full year.
Will my accumulated points reset after a year?
Yes, the points you earn reset at the end of each year. However, the tier you start the new year with is based on the tier you earned in the previous year. This will also be the minimum level for the new year, which means you cannot be downgraded in that year, only the next, should you not accumulate enough points to remain in the same tier or to be upgraded.
Here is an example:
In 2018 you earned 50K points and get upgraded to Gold tier immediately too. This happens in the middle of the year. Gold tier is now your minimum level for 2019, and you start 2019 in Gold tier at 0 points. However, if you only earn 4K points in 2019, you remain in Gold tier for the entire year, but get downgraded to Blue tier when 2020 hits.
